What you’ll do:
Food service delivery & quality control: Plan menus, food preparation, and ensure meals meet agreed service standards, nutrition guidelines, and client expectations. Team leadership & staffing: Recruit, train, rota, and supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain productivity, safety, and service consistency. Financial management: Control budgets, manage food and labour costs, forecast demand, and drive profitability while meeting contract KPIs. Compliance & safety: Ensure full adherence to food safety (HACCP), health & safety regulations, allergen management, and company policies. Client & stakeholder management: Act as the main point of contact for the client, manage feedback, implement service improvements, and support contract retention/growth. What we’re looking for: Proven contract catering experience: Background managing catering operations in environments like workplaces, education, or healthcare, with an understanding of client-driven service delivery. Leadership track record: Demonstrated experience leading teams, including supervising kitchen staff, managing rotas, and developing people in a fast-paced food service setting. Commercial and operational experience: Hands-on experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and delivering against KPIs while maintaining high food quality and compliance standards.
