Role Description

The Chef Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Northchapel. This position is responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking food for pamper party events
  • Ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation standards

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing food safety and hygiene
  • Managing kitchen operations
  • Coordinating with event staff to align food service with overall party schedules
  • Managing stock levels
  • Placing orders with suppliers
  • Monitoring costs to maintain budget efficiency

Day-to-day tasks involve:

  • Supervising kitchen workflow
  • Training and guiding junior staff
  • Adapting menus to meet guest preferences or dietary requirements

The role requires close collaboration with the event coordination team to deliver a seamless, guest-focused experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking
  • Experience in Food & Beverage service and Food Quality standards
  • Demonstrated capabilities in Culinary Management and kitchen supervision
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and allergen awareness
  • Ability to plan menus, manage inventory, and work within budget constraints
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail
  • Experience leading or mentoring kitchen staff in a hospitality or events environment is beneficial
  • Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent professional experience is preferred
