Chef

Rutland Water | £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We're looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team at Rutland Water during an exciting period of new site expansions and opportunities, and investment. This is more than a kitchen role. It's an opportunity to help shape the future of our catering offer, influence menus, and play a key part in creating memorable experiences for thousands of visitors each year.

As our Chef, you'll be at the heart of our catering operation, helping to deliver exceptional food and service while maintaining the highest standards.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and serving fresh, high-quality dishes
  • Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
  • Managing stock ordering and control to reduce waste and maximise efficiency
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy kitchen
  • Contributing creative ideas to menus, products and customer experiences
  • Providing outstanding service and building positive relationships with visitors and colleagues

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who loves great food and takes pride in creating experiences that customers remember.

You'll have:

  • Experience working in a fresh food environment
  • Strong food preparation and culinary skills
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • A positive, proactive and reliable approach
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
  • CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene in Catering (desirable)
