£14.50 per hour
We're recruiting an experienced Chef Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for DINE on a part-time basis, contracted to 10 hours per week.
As a Chef Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences. As the sole team member on site, you will oversee the complete breakfast service, taking responsibility for food preparation and cooking, serving customers, till operation, cleaning, wash-up, and filling of 2 vending machines, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered every day.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Take full ownership of the daily breakfast service, ensuring a high-quality food and customer experience.
- Prepare, cook, and present breakfast items in line with company standards.
- Serve customers efficiently and professionally.
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately.
- Replenish vending machines and retail displays to ensure products remain available throughout the day.
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and minimise waste.
- Complete all kitchen cleaning and wash-up duties.
- Open and close the catering operation as required.
- Work independently to ensure the smooth and successful running of the site.

Our Ideal Chef Supervisor Will
- Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
- Have a minimum of two years of culinary experience.
- Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill.
