Are you ready to start your legal career straight after school? Our Solicitor Apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to earn a salary, gain practical legal experience and work towards becoming a qualified solicitor, all while learning from experienced legal professionals at a global law firm.
From your first day, you'll be part of our Property, Energy & Construction team, working on real client matters and developing the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for a successful career in law. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience, take on increasing responsibility, and build a strong foundation in legal practice while studying towards nationally recognised qualifications.
The apprenticeship combines work-based learning with academic study and includes the completion of an LLB (Hons) degree and the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). On successful completion of the programme, you will qualify as a solicitor approximately six years after leaving school, having gained extensive legal experience throughout your apprenticeship.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
