Joining a fast-paced team as a Chemical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the development of a new and innovative process, while also supporting wider chemical engineering activities across the business, both in the UK and internationally.

How you’ll add value:
- Develop new and innovative chemical processes, in partnership with other teams.
- Act as the Chemical Engineer designate for projects.
- Support a range of chemical engineering activities across the business, gaining exposure to the technicalities of all operational areas.
- Contribute to process design, optimisation, safety assessments, and technical problem solving.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, safety, and commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, compliance, and engineering best practice.
- Travel to LCM’s Italian site on a regular basis (c4 days each month) to oversee projects and processes.

About You:
- Bachelor’s degree (or Equivalent) Chemical Engineering.
- Demonstrable commercial experience gained within a chemical engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of Process Design and Process Safety.
- Comfortable collaborating with multi disciplinary teams
- Computer literate with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Willingness and eligibility to travel overseas (EU) on a regular basis – 1-2 weeks per month.
