Opportunity: Chemistry Expert (PhD) – Frontier AI Evaluation

I am currently partnering with an innovative organization at the forefront of artificial intelligence to recruit high-calibre Chemistry Experts (PhD) for a fully remote, flexible contract engagement.

This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your advanced subject-matter expertise toward training, evaluating, and fine-tuning next-generation AI models designed to replicate real-world scientific workflows.

Prior experience in artificial intelligence or machine learning is not required. Your domain knowledge and scientific reasoning are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Problem Design: Create and curate advanced chemistry problems, mechanisms, and reasoning exercises across undergraduate to PhD-level topics.
  • Model Evaluation: Assess AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, chemical reasoning, and domain precision.
  • Structured Feedback: Provide clear written evaluations and detailed explanations to help improve model capabilities and safety benchmarks.
  • Core Domains Covered: Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Chemical Engineering.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline (completed or currently pursuing).

Engagement Details

  • Location: 100% Remote
