Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate Chemistry Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity within a supportive and ambitious secondary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join a highly successful Science department on a full-time maternity cover contract.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
- Deliver engaging, practical, and stimulating lessons that inspire a love of science.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
- Monitor progress effectively and implement targeted interventions where needed.
- Contribute positively to the wider Science department and school community.
- Promote high expectations of behaviour, attendance, and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate
You will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards gaining QTS.
- Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Chemistry.
- Be capable of creating engaging and inclusive learning environments.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
- Have a commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
