Key Skills

  • Payment Schemes: Strong knowledge of BACS, Faster Payments (FPS), and Cheque Processing, including payment lifecycle, validation, exceptions, and settlement processes.
  • Test Management: Expertise in Test Strategy, Test Planning, SIT, UAT, E2E, Regression, and Integration Testing within banking/payment environments.
  • Defect & Risk Management: Strong experience in Defect Management, defect triage, root-cause analysis, RAID management, risk/issue tracking, and escalation.
  • Governance & Controls: Experience with SOx Controls, testing governance, regulatory compliance, audit requirements, quality gates, and test evidence management.
  • Release Readiness: Proven ability to manage test completion, entry/exit criteria, release readiness, Go/No-Go assessments, production validation, and post-release testing.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience managing business, technology, operations, vendors, and senior stakeholders across complex payment initiatives.
