What difference will you make?

As Chief Advancement Officer, you will be the strategic architect and leader of Project Yananai's global Advancement function, with oversight of the three pillars that together fuel our mission: Fundraising, Partnerships, and Communications. You will be responsible for setting and delivering the organisation's integrated advancement strategy across the full spectrum of income streams—institutional grants, foundations, corporate partnerships, major gifts, and innovative finance—while ensuring that our external communications and partnership development align seamlessly with resource mobilisation goals to fuel the expansion of our integrated model across four nations.

What are we looking for?

About You

We're looking for someone who has

  • Significant senior leadership experience in fundraising, advancement or resource mobilisation.
  • A proven track record of securing six and seven-figure funding.
  • Experience leading high-performing fundraising and advancement teams.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with donors, foundations and strategic partners.
  • A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach.
  • A genuine passion for building organisations that create meaningful social impact.

You'll lead Project Yananai's global advancement strategy by

  • Developing and delivering our international fundraising strategy.
  • Securing major funding from trusts, foundations, institutional donors, corporate partners and philanthropists.
  • Building strategic partnerships that expand our global reach.
  • Leading and mentoring senior leaders across Fundraising, Partnerships and Communications.
  • Working closely with the CEO and Board to drive sustainable organisational growth.
  • Representing Project Yananai with major donors, partners and stakeholders.
  • Building a high-performing Advancement function capable of supporting long-term international expansion.
