Job Title: Chief Analytical Officer (Interim)
Location: Hybrid Working - Birmingham or London
Rate: £800- £1300 per day (inside of IR35)
About the Role / Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Analytical Officer to lead the future of data-driven risk and regulatory intelligence. This role is an opportunity to transform how data is utilised to identify, understand, and prevent harm across a complex and evolving market. The selected candidate will combine strategic leadership, advanced analytics, and a deep understanding of risk to create a modern intelligence-led organisation. You will develop an enterprise analytics capability that moves beyond reporting to prediction and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the enterprise-wide data, analytics, and intelligence function.
- Develop and embed a harm-based and risk-based approach to decision-making.
- Build advanced analytics and predictive modelling capabilities to identify emerging risks.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for executive and board-level stakeholders.
- Establish frameworks connecting operational activity, market intelligence, and organisational outcomes.
- Drive the use of AI, data science, and advanced analytics to improve decision-making.
- Create a culture where evidence and insight underpin strategic decisions.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across analytics, data science, intelligence, and performance.

Qualifications:
- Proven track record in a senior analytical leadership role.
- Experience within regulatory, public sector, or similar environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change.
