Newman Stewart is currently representing a well-established provider of technology-enabled logistics and supply chain solutions, supporting customers through complex operational environments. Recognised as a trusted partner to its clients, the organisation combines sector expertise, service excellence and innovation to deliver measurable improvements in visibility, control and performance across critical supply chain activities.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and forming part of the executive leadership team, the Chief Commercial Officer will take ownership of the end-to-end commercial agenda, leading revenue growth across both new business acquisition and strategic customer development.

This is a highly influential role with responsibility for defining commercial strategy, strengthening go-to-market execution and building a scalable commercial operating model capable of supporting predictable, sustainable growth. Working closely with colleagues across the business, the successful individual will align sales, marketing and customer management activities, improve commercial rigour, and establish clear standards around pipeline management, forecasting and account development.

We are seeking an accomplished commercial leader with a proven track record of delivering growth, developing high-performing teams and building commercial capability within complex B2B environments.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience from the logistics, supply chain, transport, freight, fulfilment or wider supply chain services sector
  • Strong understanding of the commercial and operational dynamics that underpin customer success in these environments
  • Experience leading commercial strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, customer development and key account growth
  • Ability to introduce structure, accountability and consistency into a scaling organisation
  • Strong leadership capability, commercial acumen and credibility at executive level
