Chief Commercial Officer - Premium Toys

Location: South West London | 5 days per week

Lead the Commercial Growth of an International Premium Consumer Brand

Our client is an award-winning designer, manufacturer and distributor of premium wooden toys, with 30+ years of heritage and a reputation for quality, innovation and exceptional design.

Following a period of sustained success, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth and is looking for a hands-on Chief Commercial Officer to lead its commercial strategy and play a key role in its next stage of growth.

Working closely with the founders, you will own the commercial function while providing oversight across the wider operation.

The Opportunity

As Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead the commercial direction of the business while providing oversight of the operational functions that support growth.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Commercial: Lead UK and international sales, customer relationships and commercial growth.
  • International Growth: Develop new markets, distribution opportunities and route-to-market strategies.
  • Operations: Provide oversight of the day-to-day operation, processes and infrastructure required to scale.
  • Supply Chain & Distribution: Oversee planning, stock, suppliers, sourcing, fulfilment and logistics.
  • People & Performance: Build a high-performing team with greater structure, accountability and commercial focus.
  • Business Performance: Strengthen reporting, forecasting and commercial decision-making

This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, solving problems and building structure within a growing founder-led business.

About You

We're looking for an accomplished commercial leader with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to scaling consumer brands.

You will bring:

  • Experience within premium toys, gifting, lifestyle, homewares, baby & nursery or other premium consumer products.
  • A proven track record of scaling a design-led, branded consumer business.
  • Strong UK and international commercial experience, including developing new markets and distribution channels.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, operations and supply chain.
  • Significant P&L ownership and a track record of delivering sustainable growth.
  • Experience within a founder-led or entrepreneurial business, where agility and pace are important.
  • The ability to introduce structure and accountability without losing the entrepreneurial culture.
