The Opportunity

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leading investment management firm seeking an accomplished Chief Compliance Officer.

This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation at a pivotal stage of its evolution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the firm's regulatory strategy while driving the compliance agenda through a period of strategic growth, operational change, and business transformation.

Working closely with the executive leadership team and Board, you will provide trusted regulatory leadership, strengthen governance frameworks, and help ensure the business continues to evolve with confidence in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.

If you're looking for a role that combines strategic influence with the opportunity to lead meaningful change, we'd welcome a confidential discussion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the firm's compliance function and regulatory strategy.

  • Maintain and enhance the firm's compliance framework within an FCA-regulated environment.
  • Support strategic business initiatives, acquisitions, and transformation programmes from a regulatory perspective.
  • Foster a strong culture of compliance across the organisation.
  • Build effective relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the business remains ahead of emerging requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing compliance team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
