Position Requirements
Description
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief CRNA to lead the rebuilding and revitalization of the CRNA team at Exeter Hospital. As Chief CRNA, you will create and foster a positive, collaborative environment with the new CRNA team. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and team development. Looking to grow their CRNA team, Exeter Hospital is a level 3 trauma center located in Exeter, New Hampshire. This community-based practice offers an anesthesia care-team model, embracing an excellent work-life balance and collegial environment. CRNAs practice with autonomy and are encouraged to practice to the full scope of their license, being comfortable with pediatrics is preferred. The Chief CRNA will serve as a clinical coordinator for nearby nurse anesthesia programs that have clinical rotations at Exeter Hospital. Exeter is conveniently located, being less than an hour from Boston and Portland, which is great for commuters within the family. There is great access to outdoor activities and notable schools, such as Phillips Exeter Academy. Also, Boston's Logan airport is only an hour away for more extensive traveling. It is considered a great place for family living and community. There is no state income tax or sales tax. CRNAs work in a care-team model and have the ability to practice with autonomy. CRNAs are encouraged to practice full scope with options to perform regional anesthesia (spinal and blocks).

Total Rewards
- Salary: $146.63 hour ($305K annually)
- $15K Chief CRNA Stipend
- Sign on Incentive: Up to $100K

Case Assignments & Schedule
- Schedule: 8 and 10 hours available. Beeper-call for nights and weekends. Potential for additional income pending number of calls taken.
- Cases: General surgery, ortho, endo, ENT, GYN, labor and delivery, ophthalmology, urology, vascular, plastics, healthy peds, dental. No head/hearts or chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Leadership experience preferred
Exeter Hospital, $146.63/hour ($305K annually), $15K Chief CRNA Stipend, $100K Sign on Incentive
