Chief Data Architect

£160,000 - £180,000
London (Hybrid - 1 Day per Week in Office)

The Company

This is a high-growth, private equity-backed financial services business operating within the consumer credit and instalment payments market. As part of a wider investment programme across technology, data, and product, the organisation is modernising its technology landscape and embracing next-generation engineering practices.

Significant work has already been completed to establish strong governance, architectural principles, and technology foundations. The business is now looking for a Chief Architect to lead the next phase of transformation.

The Role

As Chief Architect, you will define and drive the enterprise architecture strategy, helping the organisation evolve towards a modern, AI-enabled technology landscape.

Working alongside the other members of C-Suite, you will form a key part of the senior technology leadership team, shaping the future direction of engineering, cloud, applications, and platform architecture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
