As Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO), you will provide strategic and executive leadership for Frimley Health’s digital, data, information, AI and technology agenda, ensuring digital capability is embedded at the heart of delivering safe, high-quality, efficient and person-centred care.
As a Trust Board member, you will play a full role in the strategic leadership of the organisation, sharing collective responsibility for quality, performance, finance, workforce, culture, risk management and the delivery of safe and effective services.
Leading a diverse portfolio spanning digital delivery, data and analytics, clinical coding, Epic optimisation, cyber security, information governance and clinical informatics, you will drive service transformation, productivity, clinical excellence, patient experience and financial sustainability.
Working with a highly experienced senior leadership team, you will ensure a clear distinction between maintaining reliable day-to-day digital services and delivering transformational change, with both functions measured against their own outcomes and success criteria.

Main duties of the job
- Digital strategy and transformation, aligned to FHFT 2030, the clinical strategy, the new hospital programme and system responsibilities.
- Epic optimisation making the EPR a clinician-centred platform that demonstrably improves workflow, documentation, patient flow and clinical decision support.
- Information, analytics and business intelligence building a trusted, well-governed data capability including the Trust data lake, self-service reporting and advanced analytics.
- Clinical coding and information quality.
- AI strategy, governance and adoption moving from pilots to safe, governed production at scale, with a protected innovation budget.
- Virtual care, remote monitoring, population health intelligence and digitally enabled pathways.
- The new Frimley Park Hospital ensuring it is digitally enabled, data-rich, AI-ready and designed around future models of care.
- Connected Care exploitation, population segmentation and system intelligence.
- Cyber security, digital resilience, information governance and SIRO responsibilities.
- Digital operations, service management and 24/7 reliability of clinical and corporate systems.
- Digital capital planning, asset lifecycle management and end-to-end commercial and contract management.
