About the Role

Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) is seeking an exceptional leader to take forward and develop our Trust, ensuring that all children and young people enjoy an excellent education and are well prepared for adult life.

BEST is a multi-academy trust educating 8,000 children across 11 schools and five nurseries, from nursery age to advanced level study, with over 1,000 members of staff. Since forming in 2016, we have more than doubled in size, achieved Good or Outstanding Ofsted grades across all our nurseries and schools, and secured a strong financial footing, all underpinned by an ethos of inclusivity, integrity, openness and honesty.

Our new CEO will wholeheartedly embrace the vision, mission and values of the Trust, engaging and empowering the team to deliver excellent outcomes and provision across all our schools. You will have a strong track record of success in developing and delivering strategic school improvement through a highly collaborative approach, with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
