Chief Engineer

Fixed Term

England and Wales

£64,469.00 - 72,267.00 per annum (Successful candidates will be appointed on the starting salary of this range)
3 weeks on and 3 weeks off

We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Chief Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining of all our vessel machinery & electrical/technical systems. You will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and technical operation of our lighthouses, buoys, and other maritime assets. You will also supervise all maintenance and survey schedules, with particular reference to the on board planned preventative maintenance system. If you are a passionate and experienced engineer with a strong background in maritime operations, then this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the safety of our seas and coastlines.

To be considered for this role you:

  • Should be qualified with a chief engineers certificate of competency motor ships only or a Motor & Steam, (III/2), or (III/3, <9000kW).
  • Should have a current ENG 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Knowledge of DP Systems and on board planned preventative maintenance system MMIS would also be an advantage.
