CONFIDENTIAL | CEO – HIGH-GROWTH CONSUMER HEALTH TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS
CEO | Consumer Health Technology | DTC | International Growth | Category Creation
Competitive Base + Bonus + Equity
Location: Europe | International remit
There are moments in a company's evolution where the opportunity becomes much bigger than the product that created it.
I am working on a confidential retained search for the CEO of a high-growth consumer health technology business that has already established an international customer base and is now entering a significantly more ambitious phase of growth.
The business sits at the intersection of consumer health, technology, connected products and digital wellness. It has developed a differentiated proposition addressing a large and growing consumer need, with customers across multiple international markets.
The opportunity now is to build on that foundation and create something much bigger.
The opportunity
The incoming CEO will be responsible for leading the business through its next stage of international scale and value creation.
The ambition is to evolve from a successful product-led business into a global consumer health platform and category leader, combining:
- Connected consumer technology
- Digital experiences and services
- Recurring customer relationships
- Data and personalisation
- International DTC growth
- Brand and category creation
- New products and adjacent opportunities
The CEO will have genuine ownership across strategy, commercial growth, customer acquisition and retention, brand, product direction, organisation and value creation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A key part of the mandate will be determining where to play, how aggressively to invest and how to build the organisation capable of delivering the next phase of growth.
This is a business with considerable ambition and shareholder backing. It is not looking for someone simply to manage an existing operation.
Who are we looking for?
I am particularly interested in speaking with CEOs, GMs, founders and senior commercial leaders who have personally built or scaled a consumer technology or consumer health business through a significant growth inflection point.
You are likely to have experience across several of the following:
- Full P&L / CEO / GM accountability
- Scaling a DTC consumer proposition internationally
- Consumer acquisition, retention and customer economics
- Building a brand and creating a differentiated consumer category
- Connected products, consumer technology, digital health or wellness
- Subscription, recurring revenue or digitally enabled customer models
- Taking a business from founder-led growth towards a more sophisticated organisation
- International expansion and multi-market commercial execution
- Building leadership teams and organisational capability
- Working closely with founders, shareholders, investors and Boards
- Combining strategic thinking with a willingness to get deeply involved in execution

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
Importantly, you do not need to have followed a conventional consumer health career path. The strongest candidates may come from consumer technology, connected devices, wellness, digital health, DTC, subscription businesses or other high-growth consumer categories where technology, brand and customer economics come together.
This is probably not for you if…
- You are primarily a functional CMO/CCO without meaningful broader business or P&L ownership.
- You have built your career operating within large, established corporate environments and are looking for another mature, highly structured organisation.
- Your experience is predominantly hardware/product development without direct responsibility for the consumer growth engine.
- Or you are looking for a CEO role where the strategy, organisation and operating model are already largely defined.
It may be right for you if…
You are a builder. Someone who enjoys taking a business that has proven there is genuine consumer demand and asking:
“How big could this actually become?”
And then having the appetite, judgement and commercial intensity to build the organisation, proposition and growth engine capable of getting it there.
The opportunity is confidential and further information will be shared with relevant candidates following an initial conversation.
If this sounds like the kind of challenge you would seriously consider, I would be very interested in speaking with you.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
