Lead the next chapter of one of the housing sector's most influential organisations.

For more than 65 years, HACT has helped housing organisations turn insight, innovation and collaboration into meaningful improvements for residents and communities. As the sector's charity, HACT occupies a unique position at the intersection of social purpose, research, technology, community investment and sector-wide collaboration.

This is a pivotal appointment for HACT. The new Chief Executive will join as the organisation develops its next five-year strategy and considers how best to build on its established products, programmes, partnerships and sector reputation. The opportunity is to bring clarity and focus to HACT's proposition, strengthen its financial resilience and ensure its innovation and intellectual property translate into sustained impact and income.

The Board is seeking an ambitious, values-led and commercially minded Chief Executive to lead the organisation through this next phase. We are looking for an accomplished leader with experience of organisational transformation, financial sustainability, partnership development and strategic leadership. You may come from housing, the charity sector, social enterprise, membership organisations, public service or a related field, but you will share HACT's commitment to improving lives and communities through collaboration, innovation and evidence-based practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
