As NCT celebrates its 70th anniversary, we are looking for an exceptional Chief Executive to lead one of the UK's best-known and most trusted charities into its next chapter.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of parents turn to NCT for trusted information, practical support and community. At a time when perinatal services are under increasing pressure, trusted, evidence-based support has never mattered more. Our vision is simple: a society where everyone who becomes a parent feels confident, connected and safe.

This is a pivotal moment for the charity. We are approaching the final phase of our For Every Parent strategy and beginning to shape what comes next. The successful candidate will work with our Board, colleagues, our wider NCT community and partners to define NCT’s future direction while strengthening our impact, influence and long-term sustainability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
