CEO Opportunity in Northern England

We are partnering with a highly successful entrepreneur with a diversified portfolio of investments and a strong track record of exceptional growth. The ever-growing portfolio has driven the need for an exceptional CEO to take one Northern England based business on a hyper growth journey to north of £100m revenue, enabled by an innovative new offering.

About the Role

Exceptional in this context means a CEO whose track record stands apart in every sense. Your personal and professional journey post-graduation will likely combine an MBA and/or leading business school qualification with rapid early career progression in companies respected for the quality of their people and proposition.

You will be skilled in driving significant levels of growth in parallel with transformation, and without losing sight of the core revenue streams. There is a significant internal programme of work to lead, introducing automation and lean methodologies and driving cost out and margins up.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You may now be a CEO in a more entrepreneurial setting, with both a manufacturing and a distribution focus.

Your interpersonal skills will be sophisticated and powerful, and you will be able to easily pivot in content and style between investor conversations and day to day operational issues with colleagues in the business.

You will be well rewarded and will share in the success of the growth you drive. This is a business with a heavy on-site presence and you will be expected to lead from the front in this respect. It's going to be a busy but exciting journey and your natural style will be 'always on' in the same way as you would be if it were your own business.
