Chief Executive Officer

Salary: EVH SM20-SM23, £89,413 – £94,690 per annum

Location: Cathcart, Glasgow/Hybrid

Hours: 32 hours over 4 days

Contract: Permanent

For almost 40 years, Cathcart & District Housing Association has been at the heart of our community, providing quality homes, excellent services and meaningful community impact.

Following a period of long-standing and successful leadership from our retiring Chief Executive Officer, we are seeking our next Chief Executive Officer to build on our strong foundations and guide the organisation through its next phase of growth and development.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Board, you will lead a respected, financially strong and ambitious community-based housing association through its next phase of development.

  • Work with our Board, staff, customers and partners to deliver great services

  • Ensure the organisation continues to thrive in a changing environment

About You

You will be an accomplished leader with a proven track record of delivering strong organisational performance within housing or a related sector. Bringing significant strategic, and financial expertise, you will be capable of leading the organisation through change while maintaining an unwavering focus on customers and service excellence.

  • Experience of working effectively with Boards and a wide range of stakeholders
  • Building trusted relationships and inspiring confidence across the organisation and beyond

We are seeking a collaborative and empowering leader who develops high performing teams, encourages innovation and fosters a culture of accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement. A genuine commitment to community-based housing, social value and improving outcomes for customers and communities is essential.

Most importantly, you will be motivated by the opportunity to provide stable, long term leadership, shaping the future direction of Cathcart & District Housing Association.
