Adullam is a Community Benefit Society dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals and households. We provide quality housing alongside tailored support, training, education, and employment opportunities that help people build stable, independent lives and realize their full potential. Our tenants, residents, and service users include asylum seekers, ex-offenders, expectant and new mums, people with mental health issues, recovering addicts, survivors of domestic abuse, those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and young people leaving care.
As our current Chief Executive will soon be retiring, we are seeking an exceptional leader to guide our organisation through its next chapter. Leading a committed workforce of approximately 270 colleagues, you will provide strategic and values-led leadership to deliver our vision, mission, and long-term objectives.

This is a significant leadership opportunity within a complex, multi-regulated environment encompassing supported housing, general needs housing, and Ofsted-regulated services delivered across multiple locations. You will ensure organisational sustainability, regulatory compliance, and the continued delivery of high-quality services, while championing our Christian ethos and culture.
Requirements
We are looking for a strategic and inspirational executive with a proven track record of leadership within complex regulated organisations that deliver positive outcomes for vulnerable people. While experience of housing would be welcomed, we are equally interested in candidates from social care, health, local government, the voluntary or charity sector, education, or other relevant regulated environments.
An accomplished relationship builder, you’ll have the professional credibility required to engage effectively with regulators, local authorities, funders, partner organisations, churches, and sector bodies. Equally important is your organisational transformation experience, sound financial and commercial judgement, and your ability to influence at Board, regulatory, and political levels.
