Chief Executive Officer (CEO) — Orient Telecoms Plc
Location: London, UK
Industry Verticals: Telecommunications Infrastructure, High-Performance Data Centres, Enterprise AI
Role Focus: Global Fundraising, Capital Scale-Up, and Strategic Commercialization
The Mandate: Leading the Sovereign AI Revolution
Orient Telecoms Plc is searching for a visionary, highly connected, and investment-focused Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive our next era of global growth.
Founded in 2016 as a UK company with our regional operational base in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Orient Telecoms has built a robust foundation delivering carrier-class managed telecommunications across Southeast Asia. Today, we are executing a category-defining transformation. We are moving beyond traditional connectivity to establish the world’s first Infrastructure of Independence—a unified ecosystem that merges carrier-grade telecommunications, on-premise supercomputing (data centres), and private enterprise AI into a single sovereign operating system. We call this decentralized federation The Rebel Network.
With major infrastructural initiatives underway—most notably the BEAST Submarine Cable System connecting the United Kingdom directly to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia—we require an exceptional executive leader to spearhead capital mobilization and scale our product verticals internationally.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
