Following a period of significant success and development, APUC is now seeking an exceptional leader to become its next Chief Executive. Reporting to the Chair and Board you will provide strategic, commercial and operational leadership to the organisation, building on its strong reputation, capabilities and achievements whilst leading the next phase of growth, innovation and impact.
This is an opportunity to lead a well-established and highly regarded organisation that already delivers substantial value to universities, colleges and other public sector organisations, whilst identifying new opportunities to increase impact, strengthen stakeholder engagement, expand service adoption and enhance the value created for members You will play a key role in shaping how collaboration, shared services, digital innovation and sustainable procurement can deliver greater value for members, while supporting the continued growth and evolution of APUC's products, services and partnerships.

As the visible leader and ambassador for APUC, you will build trusted relationships across member institutions, government, sector bodies, partners and suppliers, ensuring the organisation remains agile, responsive and aligned to the evolving needs of its stakeholders. You will champion innovation, organisational effectiveness and continuous improvement, whilst leading and developing a talented and committed team.
We are keen to hear from accomplished senior leaders with experience of leading organisations, business units or complex functions through periods of growth, transformation and change. You will bring commercial acumen, strategic insight and the ability to build credibility and influence across diverse stakeholder groups. Most importantly, you will combine strong leadership capability with a collaborative and engaging approach, enabling you to bring people together behind a shared vision and deliver meaningful outcomes.
