CHIEF EXPERIENCE OFFICER – EVENTS & EXPERIENCES

Confidential C-suite appointment
London | Full-time | Predominantly on-site

Luxury Executive is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an iconic London private members’ club and cultural destination.

This is a genuine C-suite appointment for an established events, experiential or cultural leader—or an exceptional Global Director or Vice-President ready to take the next step into enterprise leadership.

It is not a conventional Head of Events position.

The successful executive will join the senior leadership team and work directly with the founder and CEO to shape the identity, cultural relevance, membership community and long-term experience of an extraordinary London destination.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Chief Experience Officer – Events & Experiences will create the cultural and experiential proposition that makes the venue relevant, distinctive and commercially compelling. This executive will define what the institution stands for, who it brings together and why members return.

They will bring together world-class events production, cultural programming, community, partnerships, creative direction, brand experience and luxury service under one coherent vision. This requires more than creative ideas. The successful person must be able to build the strategy, secure internal support, lead substantial teams and budgets, attract exceptional collaborators and take accountability for delivery.

THE C-SUITE MANDATE

As a member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Experience Officer will:

  • Define and own the organisation’s long-term events, experience and cultural-programming strategy.
  • Establish a distinctive creative and cultural identity capable of positioning the venue as a leading London destination.
  • Create a year-round calendar of signature events, performances, collaborations, intimate experiences and member rituals.
  • Personally lead major events and experiences from initial concept through creative development, production and operational delivery.
  • Take executive accountability for budgets, teams, agencies, suppliers, partners, risk and show-day execution.
  • Build an engaged and enduring membership community, rather than simply attracting audiences to individual events.
  • Develop relationships with artists, musicians, cultural figures, luxury brands, wellness partners, creative collaborators and influential communities.
  • Identify and secure cultural, commercial and brand partnerships that strengthen the proposition.
  • Shape the creative direction across spaces, seasonal installations, styling, uniforms, wayfinding, collateral and member-facing touchpoints.
  • Establish clear brand and experience standards covering service philosophy, tone of voice, storytelling and member experience.
  • Work across marketing, membership, operations, food and beverage, people and communications.
  • Translate the creative proposition into service rituals, operational behaviours and repeatable standards.
  • Build the internal capability, team structure and external partner network required to deliver the vision.
  • Advise and challenge the founder, CEO and executive team with confidence, judgement and commercial discipline.
  • Connect cultural relevance and creative ambition with membership growth, retention, partnerships and long-term commercial value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

RELEVANT SECTORS

We welcome senior candidates from:

  • Luxury fashion, beauty, jewellery and lifestyle brands
  • Global events and experiential agencies
  • Music, entertainment, festivals and iconic venues
  • Private members’ clubs and lifestyle hospitality
  • Cultural institutions, museums, galleries and the arts
  • Media, editorial and creator platforms

WHY CONSIDER THIS APPOINTMENT?

This is an opportunity to move beyond delivering experiences for individual brands or campaigns and take ownership of an entire institution.

The successful executive will have the platform, authority and resources to create a recognised cultural programme, build an influential membership community and shape the next chapter of an iconic London destination.

For the right Global Director or Vice-President, this represents a genuine step into the C-suite.

For an existing C-suite executive or founder, it offers the opportunity to create something culturally significant and enduring.
