Chief Financial Officer | PE-Backed B2B SaaS | Hybrid / once weekly travel to Leeds/Manchester
We are partnering with a private equity-backed B2B SaaS business as it enters its next phase of growth, investment and operational development.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded CFO to help shape and scale a high-quality recurring revenue software business with strong growth ambitions and a collaborative, people-oriented culture.
We are looking for a CFO who has helped scale a recurring revenue software business from around £20m ARR to £45-50m ARR. This experience is an essential requirement for the role.
You will also bring experience from a private equity-backed environment, with a demonstrable track record of leading initiatives that improve operational performance, expand EBITDA margins and support ambitious growth plans.
Working closely with the CEO, Board and investors, the CFO will play a central role in supporting strategic growth, improving operational leverage, strengthening reporting and forecasting capability, and building the financial foundations required for continued scale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
