Chief Financial Officer, Fractional

Why Join This Opportunity?

  • Join a growing international business with operations across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
  • Act as a true strategic partner to the Managing Director and Board, shaping the future direction of the organisation.
  • Lead a broad finance function spanning treasury, commercial finance, governance, compliance and international operations.
  • Play a key role in driving profitability, cash flow optimisation and business growth.
  • Be part of an ambitious leadership team focused on long-term value creation and operational excellence.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join a dynamic and expanding organisation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the Board, you will provide strategic financial leadership while ensuring strong governance, commercial support and operational control across multiple regions.

This role requires a commercially minded finance leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on financial management, supporting growth initiatives while maintaining robust financial discipline.

Fractional Opportunity

This is initially a fractional CFO appointment, requiring approximately 2-3 days per week, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced finance executive seeking a portfolio role while maintaining a strategic leadership position. The business is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation, and the intention is for the role to evolve into a full-time permanent position as the organisation continues to expand.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
