Pure Executive is delighted to be partnering with Anglian Learning to appoint a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to be based in Cambridge.
The Chief Finance Officer will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and has executive responsibility for the finance and procurement functions within the Trust. The postholder will be accountable for the financial health of the Trust and managing the financial plan to ensure delivery of the Trust’s strategic and financial objectives.
Key requirements:
- Significant senior finance leadership experience within a complex organisation
- Expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Strong commercial and procurement experience
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver organisational improvement
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)

Salary: Leadership Scale L22-L26 £86,803 - £95,735 FTE (Pay award of 3.5% pending)
Expected Start Date: February 2027 (subject to completion of relevant checks)
Closing Date: 2nd October 2026
