Finatal are working with a Private Equity backed multi-site business based in London to hire a new CFO to drive them towards an exit.
The fund and CEO encourage applications from candidates without prior Group CFO experience, who are looking to make the step up from a divisional, regional, FC or FD position. If you have all the required experience in a no.2 role please still apply.
They are seeking to hire a senior finance leader with experience of multi-site P&L models - backgrounds in retail, care, leisure, hospitality, or similar could all be considered. The role holder will need to be as comfortable driving strategy as operating in a hands-on culture with a lean finance team. The business is operating at £40m revenue and ~£5m EBITDA.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
