CFO - Manufacturing (PE-Backed)

London | £150,000 + Package | Full-Time

The Company

A £20m turnover manufacturing business based in London, backed by private equity and entering an active growth phase. With a strong platform in place and ambitious plans for the next chapter, the business is looking for a commercially sharp, hands-on CFO to help shape and deliver on its strategy.

The Role

As CFO, you'll be a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with the CEO, the Board, and the PE sponsor to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making. This is a broad, high-impact role suited to someone who is comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels in a business of this size.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the finance function end-to-end: financial planning, reporting, control, and compliance
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, providing financial insight to guide key business decisions
  • Manage relationships with the PE investor, including board reporting, covenant compliance, and value-creation planning
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across the business
  • Drive commercial and operational performance through robust financial analysis
  • Support M&A activity, due diligence, and potential exit planning
  • Oversee working capital management, particularly around inventory and manufacturing cost bases
  • Build and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Improve financial systems, controls, and reporting infrastructure to support scale
  • Provide input on pricing, margin, and cost efficiency across manufacturing operations

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
