Finance Director / CFO (Interim)

We are working with a healthcare organisation in Leicester that requires an experienced Finance Director or Chief Financial Officer to join the business at short notice.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will provide strategic financial direction while supporting the day-to-day finance function during a critical period for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls and governance.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive leadership team.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning processes.
  • Deliver insightful management information and performance reporting.
  • Support key business decisions through detailed financial analysis.
  • Drive operational improvements and identify opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and reporting requirements.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience operating at Finance Director or CFO level.
  • Strong healthcare sector experience is essential.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Immediately available or available at short notice.
  • Comfortable being on-site in Leicester.
