Chief Financial Officer
Central London | Founder-led luxury business | Private equity backed
Luxury Executive has been retained to appoint a Chief Financial Officer for a growing international luxury business with entities and operations across the UK, US and Europe.
Working closely with the founders, leadership team and board, you will take ownership of the finance function and support the business’s next stage of growth. You will lead finance across multiple jurisdictions, working directly with local teams and external advisers to bring consistency, financial control and clear commercial insight across the group.
We are looking for a finance leader who understands the demands of both founder-led and private-equity-backed businesses: someone who can build trusted relationships, challenge constructively and remain closely involved in the detail.
The opportunity
- Partner with the founders on growth priorities, investment decisions and business performance.
- Lead the finance function across the UK, US and European entities, coordinating local finance colleagues, accounts payable teams and external advisers.
- Own group budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital management.
- Deliver accurate management accounts, consolidated reporting, board packs and investor updates.
- Oversee intercompany balances, transactions and reconciliations, maintaining visibility across entities and currencies.
- Strengthen corporate governance, financial controls and approval processes across jurisdictions.
- Coordinate statutory reporting, audit and tax compliance with local teams and specialist advisers.
- Improve visibility of margins, costs and profitability, and develop finance systems and processes that support continued growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
