Chief Financial Officer

London

£140,000–£160,000 base + equity

We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed consultancy business to appoint a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer. With turnover of c.£20m and an ambitious growth agenda, the business has built a strong reputation in the market and is now entering its next phase of scale. This is a pivotal appointment for an experienced CFO who can combine strategic leadership with operational rigour, helping to shape the future of the business in partnership with the CEO, Board, and investors. This role will suit a hands-on, high-calibre finance leader who thrives in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments and is excited by the opportunity to create value in a PE-backed setting.

The opportunity

As CFO, you will lead the finance function and act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and private equity sponsors. You will play a central role in shaping commercial strategy, improving visibility on performance, and ensuring the business is well positioned for future value creation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
