Blair West is supporting Resulting IT in the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer

Resulting IT is a private equity-backed, independent SAP consultancy that works client-side to help organisations plan, govern and deliver successful S/4HANA programmes. The business combines established expertise in SAP road mapping, business-case development, programme delivery and value realisation with S4SensAI, its Agentic AI platform built specifically for SAP customers.

With a growing US presence and ambitions to materially scale EBITDA ahead of a potential transaction in the next 18–24 months, Resulting IT is strengthening its senior leadership team with the appointment of an experienced CFO.

Reporting to the Founder-CEO and working closely with the Board, YFM and an established Financial Controller, the CFO will be a commercially focused partner to the business. They will strengthen financial discipline, improve forecasting and forward-looking performance visibility, support scalable growth and help maximise shareholder value through the next stage of the company’s development.

The opportunity:

  • Partner closely with the CEO, Board and investors, providing the commercial challenge, financial insight and forward-looking perspective required to deliver the business plan.
  • Own forecasting and commercial performance, creating greater visibility across revenue, pipeline, utilisation, margins, cash conversion and the key drivers of EBITDA.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and eliminate revenue leakage, working directly with sales, delivery and practice leaders to turn insight into measurable action.
  • Strengthen pricing and deal discipline, challenging rates, discounting, commercial terms and project economics while supporting major negotiations and renewals.
  • Develop a rigorous value-creation plan, identifying and prioritising initiatives across growth, margin improvement, cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
  • Build greater accountability across the business through meaningful KPIs, granular budgets and proactive performance management.
  • Lead the financial and commercial elements of exit readiness, including investor communications, due diligence, quality of earnings preparation and the development of a robust, evidence-based equity story.
  • Work alongside and mentor the Financial Controller, allowing them to continue owning a strong financial control environment while developing their broader commercial and leadership capability.
  • Support the evolution of Resulting IT’s business model as traditional project-based consulting is complemented by recurring revenues from new AI-enabled products and services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
