The Opportunity
Our client is a private equity-backed asset leasing business operating across the UK and Europe. With a proven market position, strong recurring revenue characteristics and a high-quality asset base, the business is entering its next phase of growth.
Backed by an ambitious investor group, the company has a clear strategy to double revenue over the next 2-3 years through a combination of organic growth, operational optimisation and geographic expansion before positioning the business for a successful exit.
To help deliver this growth agenda, the board is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team.
This represents a rare opportunity to play a key role in scaling a highly commercial, asset-intensive business while creating significant equity value alongside management and investors.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board and private equity sponsors, the CFO will be responsible for leading the finance function and driving the financial strategy of the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
