Chief Financial Officer
Agilis Search are proud to have been retained by Klipspringer for their recruitment of a Chief Financial Officer.
Klipspringer are an ambitious leading food safety compliance partner for food and beverage businesses across the UK and Ireland. Established in 1999 Klipspringer are a family owned business with an ambitious and clearly defined plan to grow revenue and profitability. To deliver this successfully, they are looking for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team and play a central role in shaping the next stage of the business.
As CFO you will own the financial strategy, capital structure and commercial discipline to deliver significant growth sustainably. You will be providing the Board of Directors with the forecasting, reporting and risk management needed to make fast, well-informed decisions, and taking the lead on funding, M&A and exit-readiness as the business scales.

As CFO you will also hold oversight of Corporate Services, ensuring HR, Compliance, H&S and Systems are all successfully underpinning the business.
This is a newly created role providing strategic financial leadership and supporting the next phase of growth, so you will be commercially astute and have a proven track record scaling a business through a comparable growth trajectory (e.g. doubling revenue or EBITDA).
Key Skills
- Professional qualification in financial management (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Experience raising or managing external capital (debt and/or equity) and/or preparing a business for a liquidity event.
- M&A experience across due diligence, integration and post-acquisition value delivery.
- Experience operating across multiple regions/jurisdictions, with working knowledge of the compliance implications of expansion.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of partnering directly with Sales, Marketing and Operations on pricing and margin.
- Team player – humble, hungry and people-smart – with strong internal communication skills.

Klipspringer moved into brand new purpose-built offices in the East of Ipswich in 2024, where this position will be based. Alongside competitive salary, this position offers good benefits, including up to 25% of salary in annual bonus, car allowance and PMI.
