We are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed manufacturing business with approximately £40m revenue, currently growing at an exceptional 100% year-on-year. The business is entering a major phase of expansion and is looking for a commercially minded CFO to lead the finance function and play a key role in the next stage of growth.
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the PE shareholders, you will take ownership of the full finance function, leading a team of six and providing the financial insight, governance, and strategic direction required to scale the business. This is a highly visible role with significant influence across the wider organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function and manage a team of six.
- Partner with the CEO, Board, and PE investors on strategy and performance.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and long-term financial planning.
- Drive financial reporting, controls, cash management, and working capital.
- Provide commercial insight to support the company's rapid growth.
- Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting infrastructure.
- Support operational improvement and margin optimization across the manufacturing business.
- Oversee audit, tax, statutory reporting, and wider financial governance.
- Support acquisition, investment, and other strategic initiatives.
- Build a finance function capable of supporting the business as it scales significantly.

About You
We are looking for an experienced CFO / Finance Director with a strong track record in manufacturing or an operationally complex environment, ideally within a PE-backed or high-growth business.
You will be commercially strong, hands-on, and comfortable operating at both Board and operational levels. Experience managing rapid growth, working with PE investors, improving financial infrastructure, and driving performance will be highly valued.
