Chief Financial Officer

London | PE-Backed Digital Infrastructure | Buy & Build

We are seeking an exceptional CFO to join a high-growth, private equity-backed digital infrastructure business headquartered in London.

The business is pursuing an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, with significant M&A planned alongside strong organic growth. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, Board and PE sponsor, playing a critical role in driving value creation and building the platform for the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Group finance function, including reporting, controls, planning and treasury.
  • Partner with the CEO, Board and PE sponsor on strategy and performance.
  • Lead M&A activity, including modelling, due diligence, deal support and post-acquisition integration.
  • Build scalable finance processes, systems and teams to support rapid growth.
  • Drive cash generation, working capital and capital allocation.
  • Develop clear Group KPIs and performance reporting.
  • Manage relationships with lenders, auditors, advisers and other stakeholders.
  • Support future refinancing and exit activity.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven CFO / FD experience in a PE-backed, acquisitive or high-growth business.
  • Strong track record in buy-and-build and M&A.
  • Experience in digital infrastructure, telecoms, data centres, fibre, connectivity or related sectors highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial, financial and analytical capabilities.
  • Comfortable operating at Board and investor level while remaining hands-on.
  • Experienced in integrating acquisitions and building scalable finance functions.
  • Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
