CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH | GROUP CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER | LONDON

Acuity Associates has been retained to appoint a Group Chief Financial Officer for a high-growth, private equity-backed B2B services business.

The company is entering an important phase of its development and is seeking an experienced CFO to work closely with the CEO, Board and investment partner to help deliver the next stage of growth.

This is a broad, commercially focused CFO mandate with responsibility spanning strategic planning, financial leadership, M&A, funding, performance management and the continued development of the finance function.

The successful candidate will play a central role in:

  • Co-owning the business plan with the CEO and providing the financial rigour required to support continued growth
  • Acting as the senior finance partner to the Board and private equity investor
  • Leading the financial aspects of M&A, including diligence, transaction support and post-acquisition integration
  • Supporting funding, refinancing and lender relationships where required
  • Strengthening commercial finance, forecasting, reporting and decision support
  • Ensuring the finance function, systems and controls are capable of supporting a significantly larger and more complex group
  • Leading and developing an established finance team
  • Supporting the business through the remainder of its investment cycle and preparing for future strategic options

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
