Chief Financial Officer - North West - £130,000-£150,000 + Bonus + Potential Equity
This role is predominantly office-based, so the client will only consider people who are already based in the North West UK
Sellick Partnership is partnering with a fast-growing £50m+ turnover private equity-backed consultancy/professional services business to appoint a Chief Financial Officer as it enters the next stage of its growth journey. Having successfully expanded through a combination of strong organic growth and strategic acquisitions, the business is now looking for an experienced CFO who can help drive performance, support future M&A activity and act as a key partner to both the CEO and investors.

This is an opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys being at the heart of a business. While the role will play a significant part in shaping strategy and supporting decision-making at board level, it is equally important that the successful candidate is willing to remain close to the detail and lead the finance function on a day-to-day basis. Leading a team of 10, you will be responsible for developing the function, improving processes and controls, driving commercial insight and ensuring the business is well-positioned to achieve its ambitious growth plans.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience within a consultancy, professional services or IT services environment
- Private equity-backed experience is essential
- A strong track record of supporting growth, acquisitions and integration activity
- Experience managing and developing finance teams
- Excellent commercial and stakeholder management skills
- A visible and approachable leadership style, with the willingness to spend time across different offices and build relationships throughout the organisation
- The ability to balance strategic leadership with a hands-on approach when required
