CFO – Nuclear (UK)
Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote)
Capax Mundi is working with a nuclear organisation, headquartered in the Netherlands, involved in the development of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in the UK. We are looking for a CFO to lead the finance function for the UK business as it grows.
The Role
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and reporting for the UK business
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
- Manage funding, investment, and capital expenditure (Capex) decisions for large-scale infrastructure projects
- Work with the executive team and board on business strategy and growth
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial and regulatory requirements in the nuclear sector

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader, ideally within an industrial, engineering, or infrastructure environment
- Experience managing finance in a Capex-intensive, regulated environment, preferably within the UK energy sector
- Experience in nuclear or another regulated sector is preferred
- Track record of managing finance through periods of growth or capital-intensive projects
- Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, the UK
