🚨 WE’RE LOOKING FOR A CO-FOUNDER — NOT A CFO
AfriPay is looking for a strategic finance leader who wants to build, not just advise. This is not a traditional CFO role. We are looking for someone who can become a core member of the founding team, lead our next capital raise, build investor relationships, and help us scale the payment infrastructure Africa needs. If you're looking for a salary, benefits, and a conventional finance position, this opportunity is probably not for you. But if you're looking for meaningful equity, founder-level ownership, and the opportunity to help build a high-growth African fintech, keep reading.
🌍 ABOUT AFRIPAY
AfriPay is building cross-border payment infrastructure for African businesses and individuals, making it easier to move, receive, hold and spend money across borders. We are building for a continent where fragmented payment systems, expensive FX, limited access to global financial infrastructure, and complex cross-border transactions remain significant challenges. We are now preparing for our next fundraising round and are looking for a co-founder to lead this journey alongside the founding team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
