Stanton House is partnering with a PE-backed healthcare business that is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation, to appoint a commercially minded and hands-on Chief Financial Officer.
The business operates within a highly regulated healthcare environment and has established a strong market position, with ambitious plans to scale over the coming years. Following significant investment from Private Equity, the organisation is focused on driving sustainable growth, improving operational performance and building the infrastructure required to support its next stage of development.
This is a broad CFO opportunity, ideally suited to someone who enjoys operating close to the detail while also acting as a strategic partner to the CEO, senior leadership team and investor.
The Role
The CFO will take ownership of the financial agenda and play a central role in supporting the business through its next phase of growth.

- Acting as a trusted financial and commercial partner to the CEO and senior leadership team.
- Managing the relationship with the PE investor and supporting regular Board reporting.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, providing greater visibility around future performance.
- Maintaining a strong focus on cash management, cost control and profitability.
- Developing robust KPI and management reporting to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, utilisation and overall business performance.
- Strengthening financial controls, processes and procedures as the business scales.
- Ensuring the finance function provides accurate, timely and commercially relevant information.
- Supporting growth initiatives and providing financial insight into new opportunities and investments.
- Working closely with the wider leadership team to improve operational performance and enterprise value.
- Supporting the business through its ongoing transformation and positioning it for a potential future exit.
About You
We are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded CFO who is comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial and relatively lean environment;

- Previous experience within a PE-backed business, with exposure to investors and Board-level stakeholders.
- A strong track record within an SME, lower-mid-market or high-growth environment.
- Experience within healthcare, social care or another highly regulated sector within that space.
- Excellent financial control, forecasting, cash management and reporting capabilities.
- The ability to move comfortably between strategic discussions and getting into the detail.
- Experience of improving processes, controls and financial infrastructure.
- Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- A pragmatic, down-to-earth approach and the ability to build strong relationships across the organisation.
- A genuine interest in driving value rather than simply reporting on financial performance.
