The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (Guide Dogs) is the UK’s leading sight loss charity, providing vital services and support to people with sight loss at every stage of life, enabling them to live the life they choose.
Guide Dogs is seeking an exceptional individual to join its Executive Board as CFO.
As CFO, you will be far more than the organisation’s financial leader. As a strategic partner to the CEO, Trustees and Executive Team, you will drive financial strength, operational excellence and long-term sustainability, enabling people with sight loss to live the life they choose.

- Leading a diverse portfolio spanning finance, investments, compliance, procurement, health & safety and business planning, you will steer critical decisions, oversee significant assets and ensure robust governance across the charity.
- You will champion financial accountability, unlock performance and help shape strategy, investment and change.
- Balancing strategic vision with operational rigour, you will build high-performing teams, inspire confidence at Board level and ensure every pound, every asset and every decision delivers maximum value.
Above all, this role calls for a commercially astute leader who combines strong financial acumen and sound judgement with a deep commitment to Guide Dogs’ purpose, ensuring commercial rigour is aligned with its charitable mission.
