Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Leicestershire (Hybrid) | £150,000 - £175,000 + Package

PE-Backed Renewable Energy Business

Our client, a private equity-backed business spanning infrastructure, renewable energy, and technology, is looking for an experienced CFO to lead their finance function through the next phase of growth.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO and Board, you'll own group financial strategy while leading fundraising activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead equity and debt fundraising
  • Own financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, and cash management
  • Act as key partner to CEO, Board, and PE investors
  • Support M&A, due diligence, and future exit planning
  • Build and lead the finance team
  • Ensure strong financial controls and governance

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven CFO/senior finance experience in a PE-backed business
  • Hands-on fundraising track record (equity and/or debt)
  • Background in infrastructure, renewable energy, and/or tech
  • Strong Board and investor relationship skills

Package: £150,000 - £175,000 + benefits
