High Growth Ecommerce Business - Chief Growth Officer- Home-Working with regular travel across the UK
Futures are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth ecommerce business that works with some of the world's leading FMCG brands, helping them accelerate their direct-to-consumer and marketplace strategy. With a turnover of £350 million and 20% year-on-year growth, the business has become a trusted partner to global consumer goods companies, managing their presence across leading marketplaces.
Working with leading FMCG and retail brands, the business supports companies in launching, managing and accelerating their ecommerce and marketplace operations across major online retail platforms.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and commercially driven leader to take ownership of the company's growth strategy, develop high-value partnerships and play a key role in shaping its future.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and execute a long-term commercial growth strategy aligned with the company's expansion plans.
- Identify and secure high-value new business opportunities across FMCG, retail and consumer goods.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients across the UK.
- Take ownership of the full business development cycle, from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and successful onboarding.

New Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Proactively target major FMCG, consumer goods and retail brands looking to develop or accelerate their ecommerce capabilities.
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers, including Ecommerce Directors, Commercial Directors, Managing Directors and C-suite executives.
- Lead complex commercial discussions, pitches and negotiations with prospective clients.
- Develop tailored commercial proposals that demonstrate the value of the company's ecommerce and marketplace solutions.

Ecommerce & Marketplace Expansion
- Identify opportunities to support brands with their ecommerce, marketplace and direct-to-consumer growth strategies.
- Develop commercial opportunities across platforms including Amazon, Wayfair, Tesco.com, The Range, B&Q, Shopify and TikTok Shop.
- Work with prospective clients to understand their current ecommerce challenges and identify opportunities for growth.

Leadership & Commercial Performance
- Work closely with the CEO and SLT to shape the company's overall commercial direction.
- Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.
About You
- 8+ years experience in a senior commercial, business development or growth-focused role within an fmcg/ecommerce business.
- A strong background within FMCG, retail, ecommerce, marketplaces or a related industry.
- A proven track record of securing high-value contracts and developing relationships with major consumer brands.
- An established network of senior commercial and ecommerce contacts across UK and European FMCG and retail businesses.
- A strong understanding of ecommerce, online marketplaces and direct-to-consumer business models.
- Experience managing complex commercial negotiations and presenting to senior-level stakeholders.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to make a significant impact within a growing business.

- £80,000–£100,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
- Bonus potential of up to £40,000.
