Chief Growth Officer

Location: UK / Hybrid

Package: Executive-level remuneration package

Our client is a large, nationally recognised organisation operating within the healthcare sector, working in partnership with NHS organisations and other healthcare stakeholders across the UK. The organisation is entering an exciting phase of strategic development and growth and is seeking to appoint a Chief Growth & Innovation Officer to join its executive leadership team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this appointment will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisation's future growth strategy, strengthening customer relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities, and leading the development of innovative solutions that respond to the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially driven executive to influence organisational direction, drive sustainable growth, and make a meaningful contribution within a sector of significant national importance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the organisation's long-term growth and innovation strategy.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with senior stakeholders across healthcare organisations, including NHS customers.
  • Lead the development and launch of innovative products, services, and customer propositions.
  • Drive commercial performance through a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Shape go-to-market strategies for new and existing service offerings.
  • Work collaboratively across the executive team to align commercial, operational, and strategic priorities.
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing commercial, marketing, bids, and innovation teams.

The Person

We are seeking an accomplished commercial leader with a proven track record of delivering growth within complex, stakeholder-led environments. Candidates are likely to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience driving commercial growth and developing strategic customer relationships.
  • Experience delivering complex services, solutions, or programmes into large organisations.
  • A strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and its associated stakeholder environment.
  • Experience engaging with NHS organisations and navigating complex procurement, framework, and tendering processes.
  • A successful track record of identifying and delivering new business opportunities, product innovation, or service development initiatives.
  • The credibility and presence to engage effectively with Board-level stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial judgement, and leadership capability.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams through periods of growth and change.
